About Our Opportunity

The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa, part of Kohler Co., is seeking a skilled Finance Analyst to join their team. This role will provide in-depth analysis of operations and special projects, as well as support for planning and budgeting.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating strategic, financial, budgeting, capital, and manpower planning processes for serviced businesses.

• Provide monthly operational analysis for serviced businesses, reviewing results with the Senior Management Team.

• Review and analyze capital expenditure requests, understanding and analyzing official vs. cost avoidance savings, ensuring Capital ACT procedures/policies are adhered to, and calculating ROI's.

• Direct accounting activities for monthly and annual accounting close for serviced businesses.

• Ensure accuracy, legitimacy, and timeliness of accounting transactions, source documents, and records.

• Responsible for statements and reports of serviced businesses and related sections of the corporate monthly reporting book.

• Evaluate and analyze income statement, cash flow, and balance sheet activity for serviced businesses.

• Initiate and participate in the implementation of information systems within serviced businesses, improving quality, brevity, and timeliness of information.

• Design, develop, and maintain accounting systems and procedures within serviced businesses.

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of computer systems impacting serviced businesses.

• Play a fundamental role in the monthly corporate forecast process for the Statement of Financial Performance and Statement of Financial Position.

• Serve as Accounting Project Lead for major capital projects within serviced businesses.

• Responsible for capital asset activities, including asset transfers, asset disposals, and supporting the physical inventory of capital assets.

About You

We are seeking someone with a strong background in finance and accounting, ideally with 5+ years' experience as a Finance Analyst and experience working in a hotel environment. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in IT Systems are required.
