Machinist Craftsman

We are seeking an experienced Machinist Craftsman to join our team at Omega Resource Group.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual machining, including milling, turning, grinding, and honing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and perform manual and CNC machining processes.
• Utilize mills, lathes, grinding, honing, EDMs, and assembly equipment.
• Complete setups for products routed through the machining process.
• Conduct self-inspections and complete necessary quality audits.
• Follow engineering drawings, inspection plans, and shop documentation.
• Adopt and implement lean manufacturing principles.

Requirements:

• Experience within a tool room or single-piece manufacture environment.
• Evidence of previous engineering or manufacturing roles.
• Able to work on an AM/PM shift roster.
• Able to drive lean manufacturing tools and techniques, including 5S.
