Housing Policy and Strategy Advisor

Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Council is seeking a highly skilled Housing Policy and Strategy Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering effective housing strategies that meet the needs of diverse communities in Babergh and Mid Suffolk.

The role offers a competitive salary of £34,834 - £41,418 per annum (pro rata for part time) and a range of benefits, including wellbeing support, employee assist, and a competitive pension scheme. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with partners, stakeholders, and colleagues to create housing solutions that are effective and forward-thinking.

The Housing Policy and Strategy Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering housing strategies that meet the needs of diverse communities;
  • Collaborating with partners and stakeholders to create housing solutions that are effective and forward-thinking;
  • Using data and insights to make a real impact on housing policy and strategy;
  • Working closely with colleagues and partners to provide excellent services to our 190,000 residents across Babergh and Mid Suffolk.
