Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical support to local users by installing, troubleshooting, and fixing issues on the IT infrastructure, end-user devices, and applications.
  2. Manage tickets, offering both first and second-line support to ensure seamless IT operations.
  3. Perform proactive maintenance to maximise the availability of all IT equipment and ensure minimal business interruption.
  4. Collaborate with other IT Service colleagues to implement projects and deliver innovations that enhance our IT services.

As an IT Support Technician, you'll be involved in helping us grow our capabilities through deploying the latest technologies and assisting colleagues in getting the most out of their IT. About the Team
Within the Ops Tech IT (OTS) team, we offer constant tech support to Amazon's global operations. Maintaining, upgrading, and protecting the IT infrastructure and end-user devices of one of the world's largest businesses requires diverse skills. Some team members are engineers who help implement solutions and create new ones, while others take management roles, providing leadership to our tech support colleagues so they can better assist our end-users. Our team balances performance and sustainability in all new solutions, ensuring we meet the needs of our business while minimising our environmental impact.

Requirements
  1. Experience supporting Windows, Mac, and/or Linux operating systems in a corporate setting.
  2. Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
  3. Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals.
  4. Experience with network troubleshooting and support.
  5. UK valid driving license required.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry-relevant certifications.
  2. Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service.
