Wealth Strategist

At MBF, we are seeking an experienced Wealth Strategist to join our team in Glasgow.

We offer a competitive salary of £75,000 - £120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes generous Pension contribution, DIS, Income Protection, PMI, share options, Electric Vehicle Scheme, and many others.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 4 qualification, ideally progressing towards (or already achieved) the CII Level 6 Advanced Diploma or equivalent. Prior experience as a Financial Planner is essential, with a minimum of 3 years but ideally 5+ years.

This role involves managing an existing client base while actively seeking opportunities to expand it through business development initiatives and networking. The successful candidate will ensure client satisfaction by providing ongoing advice, maintaining client suitability, and adhering to regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop relationships with a portfolio of HNW clients, providing continuous support and advice.
• Engage in business development to attract new clients, leveraging both internal and external networks.
• Deliver comprehensive financial planning solutions, particularly in complex and higher-risk areas.
• Provide guidance to paraplanning and administration teams, ensuring high standards and timely task completion.
