About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team at Babcock International. As a key member of our Land Sector FP&A Team, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely financial data to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a reporting service for the Business Facing finance teams within the Training BU, meeting agreed Sector and Group deadlines.
  • Deputise for the FP&A Manager when required, ensuring seamless continuity of service.
  • Assist with managing the relationship with Group and BU Finance, fostering strong partnerships and communication.
  • Support identified continuous improvement projects on behalf of the BU finance and Sector FP&A teams, driving process enhancements and efficiency gains.
  • Support consolidation, review, and sign-off of the Training Business Unit management accounts with the Training FD, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
  • Ability to understand and manipulate data to present clear and concise financial messages for review.
  • Ability to ensure deadlines and targets are achieved or surpassed, demonstrating a high level of organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain knowledge of industry and regulatory standards in respect to Financial Reporting, staying up-to-date with changing requirements.
  • Extensive experience in the use of Microsoft suite of applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Proven track record using BPC Reporting system or a similar application, demonstrating expertise in financial reporting tools.
