About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Primary Teacher in Derbyshire, supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development. As a Primary Education Specialist with Opogo, you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of students and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
  • Create a supportive classroom environment that fosters diversity and inclusion
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and improve student outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to share student progress updates
  • Promote positive behavior and emotional well-being among students

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 and 2 students
  • Knowledge of SEND practices and inclusive education principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards students and colleagues
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the school and students
