About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead our new development in the South West region. As a key member of our Construction team, you will be responsible for managing the entire construction cycle, ensuring all deadlines are met and the development is built to Company and NHBC standards.

Based on site and reporting to the Construction Manager, you will successfully manage all aspects of the building site, with responsibility for health and safety issues, trades and material co-ordination, site presentation and cost control.

You will play a key role in ensuring the continued success of Churchill Retirement Living's desirable developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the construction cycle, ensuring all deadlines are met and the development is built to Company and NHBC standards.
  • Successfully manage all aspects of the building site, including health and safety issues, trades and material co-ordination, site presentation and cost control.
  • Lead a team of site staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of the project.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers, specialists and in-house teams to achieve critical objectives.
  • Ensure the site is presented in a professional and safe manner, adhering to Company and NHBC standards.
Requirements
  • Black or white CSCS card.
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Site Management, preferably on the NHBC Site Manager Accreditation programme.
  • Sound knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Qualified First Aider at Work.
  • Assertive and calm under pressure, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
