About the Role

Pertemps is seeking an experienced English teacher to join a large secondary school in East Birmingham. As an English Curriculum Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on students' lives and inspire a love for English Language and Literature.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach across the English curriculum to Key Stages 3 & 4, promoting engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Lead GCSE English booster sessions for students requiring additional support, helping them overcome educational barriers.
  • Collaborate with the Director of English and English Teachers to plan and deliver outstanding lessons, ensuring academic excellence.
  • Inspire a passion for English in students, making it accessible and enjoyable for all.
