About the Role

Rutherford Briant is seeking a highly skilled Semi-Senior Accountant to join our team in Halstead. As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounts services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare year-end statutory accounts with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Prepare basic corporation tax returns and VAT returns
  • Assist more junior members of the team in accounts and bookkeeping work
Requirements
  • At least 1 year's experience working in Practice
  • Experience preparing sole trader, partnership, and Ltd company accounts for Manager review
  • Ideal candidate will have certificate level or foundation level of ACA/ACCA completed or 2 years' experience in Practice
  • Strong communication skills
