Job Summary:
Andrew Construction Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the external works on a large residential scheme in West London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing external packages and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the external works package, including external walls, curtain walls, precast concrete walls, fire resistance, landscaping, balconies, and flat roofing/punch hole windows.
- Work closely with the client and other stakeholders to ensure that the project is delivered to the required standards.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor and control costs, ensuring that the project is delivered within budget.
- Manage and motivate a team of site staff, including laborers, tradespeople, and supervisors.
- Ensure that all site activities are carried out in a safe and healthy manner, in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager on a Tier One Developer or Contractor project.
- Strong background in managing external packages, including external walls, curtain walls, precast concrete walls, fire resistance, landscaping, balconies, and flat roofing/punch hole windows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and site staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
