Maintenance Engineer

As a skilled maintenance engineer at Greencore, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our plant equipment. This involves carrying out fault finding, problem solving, and planned and preventative maintenance to maximise production time according to given priorities.
You will work closely with internal customers to meet their needs and ensure all work is carried out correctly and safely, complying with food safety standards and controls. Your attention to detail and ability to identify areas for improvement will be essential in promoting Health & Safety and operational efficiency.
Work PatternThe role involves a 4-on-4-off shift pattern, rotating between days and nights. You should be flexible and willing to adapt to changing circumstances.
About YouWe are looking for a proactive and experienced maintenance engineer with a background in FMCG or food production. A formal engineering qualification and experience working as a maintenance engineer in a manufacturing environment are essential. You should also have a willingness to learn and develop, as well as experience in electrical and mechanical fault finding.
Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including holidays, pension matching up to 8%, company share save scheme, Greencore Qualifications, exclusive employee discount platform, and access to a full wellbeing centre platform.
