Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Specialist in the Nuclear Industry, you will work closely with internal and external interfaces to ensure the highest standards of quality are met. This includes collaborating with customer quality representatives, suppliers, and manufacturing sites to identify and address quality issues.

You will contribute to the development of site documentation and participate in deployment within the project team. Additionally, you will organize customer/safety authority audits and handle associated discrepancies.

Key qualifications include an engineering degree, ideally with experience in quality and engineering. Knowledge of nuclear products and manufacturing processes is an asset. Familiarity with industry codes and standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, is also required.

You will be responsible for managing and controlling the treatment of adverse situations, including audit findings, condition reports, and non-conformances. You will also ensure the systematic deployment of 8D/A3 problem-solving methodologies.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will contribute to the management of supplier monitoring activities and the monitoring of their quality performance based on inspection results.

Requirements
