Van Delivery Driver/ Multi Drop Courier

Job Summary:

We are seeking a self-employed van driver to join our team of independent contractors. As a van delivery driver, you will be responsible for delivering parcels and packages to customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver parcels and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate a 3.5T long wheel-based van, fitted with reversing camera or sensor
  • Manage your own route and schedule to meet customer demands
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Meet the demands of multi-drop delivery with parcels weighing at least 30kg

Requirements:

  • Own or intend to hire a 3.5T long wheel-based van, fitted with reversing camera or sensor
  • Personal vehicle insurance which must cover the carriage of goods for hire and reward, and emergency breakdown cover
  • A full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Valid business insurances, including: £5 million Public Liability, £5 million Employers Liability, and £25,000 Goods in Transit
  • A smart appearance and full PPE always including steel toecap boots
  • Good level of fitness to meet the demands of multi-drop delivery
  • Ability to pass a basic CRB check and Right to Work checks
