Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a clear configuration management plan to ensure smooth configuration management activities.
  • Design processes to support configuration and release management activities, working closely with internal teams.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to capture configuration requirements and ensure they are met.
  • Lead configuration audits and provide guidance and coaching to the configuration management team.
  • Interface with platform configuration teams to keep platform configurations accurate and up to date.

About the Role:

This is a great opportunity for an Engineering Manager to take the lead on configuration and release management for a major project. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and maintaining processes to ensure smooth configuration management activities.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • A degree in a relevant technology, engineering, or science discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or the ability to gain this within 12 months.
  • Membership in a recognized Professional Engineering Institute.
  • CM2 certification.
  • Experience in configuration and release management within regulated industries (e.g., defence, aerospace, automotive).
