Exciting Opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Grantham. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing bespoke products for commercial vehicles using Inventor 3D CAD and Autodesk.

About the Role:

  1. Design and create overall assembly drawings to meet defined requirements
  2. Generate detailed manufacturing drawings for internal or external production
  3. Develop BOMs for special products and procurement as needed
  4. Liaise with customers on projects
  5. Continuously improve existing products

Requirements:

  1. Strong background in mechanical engineering with knowledge of fabricated assemblies and sheet metalwork
  2. Ability to design customised variants from a standard product range
  3. Minimum of HND in Mechanical Engineering
  4. Excellent working knowledge of Inventor 3D CAD or similar
  5. Competence with Microsoft Office
