Job Profile:
We are looking for a skilled Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our team in the City, London. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and validating risk models.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and validate risk models using advanced statistical and mathematical techniques
* Conduct substantial data manipulation and independent analysis to identify risks, trends, and solutions
* Engage with senior managers, communicate results and recommendations effectively, and demonstrate strong mathematical and first-principles understanding of modelling methodologies

Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience working in a model validation and/or model development role
* Advanced working knowledge of Retail / Corporate / Private banking, including core financial processes, Treasury activities, and second-line Risk function responsibilities
* Significant hands-on experience across financial model types and financial tools
* Strong mathematical and first-principles understanding of modelling methodologies, economic theory, financial notation, and formulas, as well as AI and ML techniques
* Broad understanding of best practice surrounding model lifecycle management and model validation, including scoping, developing, testing, validating, implementing, and documenting financial models and tools
* Significant expertise in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, SAS for risk analysis, data manipulation, trend identification, tool/model building, and automation
* Advanced level Excel with VBA/macros
