About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Global Fund Services team at Ocorian. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in the management of our business and the delivery of exceptional client service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning

Assist in the development and implementation of our Global Fund Services strategic plan, business plan, and goals. Work closely with our directors to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Team Management

Lead and motivate a team of managers and administrators responsible for delivering client services. Develop and implement training programs to enhance skills and capability.

Client Service

Co-ordinate the team to deliver the highest standard of client service at all times. Ensure the timely completion of key client deliverables and the meeting of fund and investment deadlines.

Business Development

Develop and implement business development strategies to generate new business opportunities for Ocorian's business lines. Work closely with our sales team to identify and pursue new business leads.

Technology and Risk Management

Ensure the effective use and development of our technology to maximize its functionality and enable the ongoing development of client services. Manage business risk and ensure compliance with our policies and procedures.

Board Representation

Act as an alternate director or director on the boards of client companies, as required by our directors. Provide expertise and guidance to the team and business as needed.

Requirements
  • Experience

Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in a fund, trust, and/or company management/administration environment. Ideally, with a professional qualification as a lawyer, chartered accountant, chartered surveyor, or ICSA.

Knowledge and Skills

Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and codes of practice. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

Personal Qualities

Client-centric, ambitious, agile, collaborative, and ethical. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
