Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at TPF Recruitment. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a key role in the delivery of bookkeeping services, preparation of VAT returns, and involvement with wider services.

The ideal candidate will have experience across bookkeeping, preparing VAT returns, CIS, payroll, and other related tasks within an accountancy practice firm. You will have a strong understanding of cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.

As a Bookkeeper, you will work on varied clients across a mix of industries and turnovers. You will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing client relationships, and providing exceptional customer service.

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial statements and VAT returns
  • Management of client relationships and communication
  • Use of cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks
  • Preparation of CIS and payroll
  • Other related tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Bookkeeper in an accountancy practice firm
  • Strong understanding of cloud accounting software
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
