Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Organisational Portfolio Office in North West London Pathology. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects across various areas, including digital, service improvements, IT & technical, laboratory operations, and more.

Main Duties

The Project Manager will work as part of a dynamic team and be responsible for:

  • Managing projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Developing and maintaining project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, and issue logs
  • Coordinating with stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and external partners
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks, and developing contingency plans as needed
  • Ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of project management experience in an NHS setting
  • Prince 2 certification to Practitioner Level
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
