Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a leading procurement strategy aligned with organisational goals.
- Monitor and manage the procurement budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities by adapting procurement strategies based on market trends.
- Stay informed about emerging trends in sourcing and supplier landscapes, and implement innovative solutions such as automation, blockchain, and data analytics to optimize procurement processes and enhance supplier relationships.
- Develop strategic partnerships with suppliers to encourage innovation, quality improvement, and cost reduction.
- Promote sustainable sourcing and ethical supply chains by integrating environmental and social considerations into procurement decisions.
- Identify and mitigate procurement risks, ensuring supply chain resilience by assessing supplier financial stability and managing geopolitical and third-party risks.
- Lead negotiations to secure favorable contracts and oversee contract management to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
- 10+ years' experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) qualification (desirable).
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field (desirable).
- Proven track record of designing, developing, and leading a procurement function in a large organisation.
