Role of the HCA Instructor
The Health Care Assistant (HCA) Instructor plays a crucial role in our HCA program. They are responsible for instructing students during theory and lab sessions. The ideal candidate must understand our program goals, learning objectives, and policies related to clinical training. They will coordinate these elements to provide a successful learning experience for our students.

Key Responsibilities
- Instruct curriculum using authorized materials
- Contribute to curriculum maintenance and development
- Administer assessments and grade student work
- Attend faculty meetings, training sessions, and college events
- Supervise students during clinical placements as needed

Qualifications and Education
To be eligible for this role, you must hold a current practicing license as an LPN, RN, or RPN with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). You should also have at least two years of full-time nursing experience.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of MS Office and database systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
