Centre Manager Opportunity

Mid Devon Council is seeking a Centre Manager to oversee the operations of our leisure facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leisure management and a Level 3 qualification in leadership and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the highest standards of product and service delivery
  • Manage site operations, ensuring the building is ready for use by customers
  • Work with the management team to set sales targets and identify new business strategies
  • Collaborate with Duty Officers to identify and resolve operational issues
  • Develop and implement risk management processes and emergency action plans

About You

  • Demonstrable operational experience in a leisure facility
  • Level 3 qualification in leadership and management, team leading or equivalent
  • Experience in operating leisure management systems and working in a front-of-house environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Sound knowledge of Health and Safety
