About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our team at the AFI group of companies. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the workshop and workloads for your team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement forward planning to ensure the optimum availability of machinery ready for hire.
  • Conduct hands-on preventative maintenance and inspections of machines to ensure they are serviced, LOLER inspected, PDId, and repaired to schedule.
  • Provide guidance and support to your team of engineers to ensure they complete tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of machine maintenance and inspections.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in engineering and leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
