Driver Hire Southampton is seeking a skilled Class 2 driver to deliver steel and metal products around Hampshire. The successful candidate will be required to operate a Class 2 flatbed vehicle, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high levels of customer service. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for career advancement.

About the Role
  • 12-week temporary to permanent contract
  • Monday to Friday working hours, starting between 6:00am and 7:00am
  • Delivering steel and metal products across Hampshire

As a Class 2 driver for Driver Hire Southampton, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating a Class 2 flatbed vehicle safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate tachograph records
  • Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time
  • Providing excellent customer service

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A valid Class 2 driving license
  • Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
  • At least 12 months experience driving a Class 2 vehicle
  • Strapping and chaining experience preferred
