Job Summary

Silvaco is seeking a skilled software developer to join our Numerics team. As a key member of the TCAD group, you will design, implement, and evaluate high-quality products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver advanced numerical solvers and techniques
  • Improve existing solution techniques and provide recommendations to internal engineering teams
  • Design and implement mathematical methods and algorithms
  • Communicate complex ideas and testing results effectively
Requirements
  • MSc in Computational Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ and software design
  • Experience with parallel programming, Linux, and Windows operating systems
  • Strong mathematical fundamentals, including linear algebra and numerical methods
  • Experience with discretizing and solving hyperbolic PDE systems and linear solvers
