Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems. As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic products for the military aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronic products, including ground-based and airborne equipment
  • Develop analogue and digital circuit designs
  • Generate circuit schematics and design, test, and validation documentation
  • Report project progress to the Group Leader and deliver projects on time and within budget

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Previous experience in electronic design and production in an engineering environment
  • Designing for EMC and Low Voltage Directive
  • Product testing, commissioning, and fault finding
  • Experience with circuit/schematic capture, circuit simulation, and PCB layout
  • Working knowledge of Xilinx CPLD's and FPGA's

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of LabVIEW and designing for DO-254 and ATEX

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Electronics & Hardware Engineering department at Warton, Lancashire. You will be part of a multi-disciplined team involved in the design and development of electronic products for the military aerospace industry.
