Job Title: Cyber Systems Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Systems Security Specialist to join our team at Major Talent. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining various security systems, with a focus on fault finding and system repairs.

The role includes:

  1. £33,000 - £37,000 per annum based on experience
  2. 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  3. Maximise your earnings with overtime opportunities
  4. Travel time is fully compensated
  5. On-Call Rotation: (1 in 5), offering additional earning potential
  6. Career Progression: Ongoing training with clear career development pathways
  7. Work Away Allowances: Increased hourly rate and additional benefits when working out of town
  8. Great working hours - Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Service and maintain a wide range of security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarms
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot reactive faults efficiently
  3. Provide clear and concise service reports and documentation
  4. Collaborate effectively within a team, offering support to colleagues as required
  5. Be available for occasional out-of-town assignments
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the security industry with strong fault-finding skills
  2. Familiarity with a variety of security systems (e.g., Paxton, Hikvision, Avigilon, Salto, Galaxy)
  3. Excellent communication and organizational skills
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  5. Full UK driving licence
  6. IPAF and ECS certification (preferred but not essential)
