Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to join our team at Senior Aerospace Weston. As a CMM Programmer, you will be responsible for the management of our CMM network, offline CMM programming, and fixture design using Catia.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain the CMM network to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
- Develop and implement offline CMM programming using MCOSMOS software.
- Design and develop fixtures using Catia to support CMM scanning and measurement.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure accurate measurement and inspection of complex components.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff on CMM operation and maintenance.
- Contribute to the development of new measurement and inspection processes to improve product quality and efficiency.
- Time-served skilled engineer or HNC qualified in a relevant field.
- Experience with MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis) and its application in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of working with complex components and systems in the aerospace industry.
- Strong understanding of 2D drawings and customer COS (Customer Order Specifications).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic and advanced knowledge of Mitutoyo software and hardware.
