We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified KS2 teacher to join our team at an Outstanding primary school in Southwark. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a school that is dedicated to nurturing well-rounded, confident children equipped for their future.

The successful candidate will enjoy teaching an academic yet creative topic-based curriculum in a school with exceptional pastoral care. The role offers a permanent full-time contract, paid to MPS 2 or UPS, and excellent opportunities for career progression.

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**

  • To teach KS2 classes and plan engaging lessons that cater to the needs of all pupils.
  • To assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to improve learning outcomes.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching methods.
  • To contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and ensure that it meets the needs of all pupils.

**Requirements**

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A strong academic record and QTS/PGCE qualification.
  • A proven track record of success in a KS2 environment.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with children and parents.
  • Outstanding classroom practice and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.

**Salary and Benefits**

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience, and a range of benefits including professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment.
