Job Title: Headteacher - SEN

Location: Benton, Newcastle upon Tyne

Salary: Up to 80,000 per annum (not pro rata) + performance related bonus.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Headteacher to lead our new SEN school in Benton, Newcastle upon Tyne. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational vision and direction of our school, ensuring that our students receive the highest quality education and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic development and day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Special Educational Needs, primarily Autism, with the ability to effectively support associated learning needs.
  • Contribute to the establishment of a successful and vibrant learning environment in a brand-new school setting.
  • Be actively involved in the school community, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

We are looking for a candidate with:

Proven experience as a Headteacher with a successful track record in educational leadership.Strong background in dealing with Special Educational Needs, primarily Autism, and associated learning needs.Familiarity with the dynamics of independent schools and a hands-on approach to school management.
