**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Governance Director to lead our strategic governance efforts. This is a pivotal role that requires strong leadership and collaboration skills to foster alignment and engagement between Local Governing Bodies, School Leaders, and the trust's Central Team.
The successful candidate will work closely with chairs of governors, local governing bodies, trustees, and clerks on statutory, policy, and process requirements, ensuring great governance with real impact across the trust.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on all strategic matters relating to governance across the trust, working closely with key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement governance strategies to ensure alignment and engagement between Local Governing Bodies, School Leaders, and the trust's Central Team.
- Work with chairs of governors, local governing bodies, trustees, and clerks to ensure compliance with statutory, policy, and process requirements.
- SUPPORT school leaders in hearing the voices of students, staff, and local communities, ensuring alignment in their vision, values, and objectives.
