Adult Psychiatrist

The role of Adult Community Speciality Doctor in Psychiatry is a challenging and rewarding position within the NHS, offering a competitive salary of approximately £85,000 per annum.

This full-time opportunity involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to adults with mental health needs across the Southern part of Waltham Forest. As a senior medical practitioner, you will be expected to provide senior medical support, direct input on clinical cases, and guidance and supervision to the team.

• Main Responsibilities:
• Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
• Providing expert medical advice and guidance to colleagues
• Liaising with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of current developments in mental health care and a commitment to professional development are essential for success in this role.

A key aspect of this position is the requirement to work directly with adult patients and their families, providing individualized care and support. • Full GMC Registration with a license to practice
• Section 12 certification or a commitment to work towards this
• Mastery in the management of a broad range of mental disorders in adults
• At least 4 years of full-time postgraduate training or equivalent experience and competencies
