About this role

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key responsibilities

  • Providing personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks, bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Preparing and cooking meals, as well as running errands and assisting with household chores.
  • Overseeing medication and providing medical support, as required.
  • Supporting clients with mobility issues, including helping them to move around their homes and accessing local facilities.

Requirements

  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work varied hours and respond to changing situations.
