Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team in King Street, Garston, Liverpool. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide site EC&I maintenance support on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that all equipment is operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform safe isolations of electrical and instrumentation equipment, and overhaul and test site EC&I equipment as required.
  • Inspect, test, and service all site electrical equipment, including fixed wiring defect repair.
  • Fault diagnosis and resolution of EC&I problems across the site, using your technical expertise to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Calibrate site instrumentation equipment, and assist with mechanical breakdowns as needed.
  • Work closely with the site team to efficiently resolve repeat problems, and contribute to health and safety audits and improvements.
  • Involvement in continuous improvement activities, using your skills and knowledge to drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for sustainability and a strong track record of delivering high-quality maintenance services. Ideally, you will hold CompEx 1-4 qualification and have experience in fault finding 4-20mA, single and three-phase systems. You should be proficient in process control instruments such as control valves and level sensors, and have a good understanding of inverters, PID controllers, and SCADA. Basic mechanical comprehension is also essential to assist with breakdowns.
