Maintenance Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Support Specialist to join our team at ARC Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of maintenance, implementation, and delivery.
- Implement actions to meet and maintain maintenance standards.
- Maintenance and completion of accurate records.
- Systematically solve day-to-day problematical issues which arise.
- Ensure that the clients rights are protected.
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support.
- Coordinate and liaise with external agencies to ensure that the clients buildings and vehicles are compliant with the relevant governing bodies/legislation.
Requirements:
- RQF Diploma/ HNC/ City and Guilds in Maintenance or Building Services (desirable but not essential).
- Plumbing, joinery and plastering skills.
- Painting and decorating skills.
- Health and safety knowledge pertaining to building maintenance.
- Must ensure accurate, legible maintenance schedules are completed and maintained.
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of maintenance policies and procedures.
- Good written and verbal English.
- To be able to communicate with the Client and their visitors.
Specific Requirements:
- Experience working with service users who have additional support needs.
- Previous experience working in a maintenance role.
- Previous employment in the building trade.
- Experience working in a similar trade.
