Optometrist Role

Zest Business Group is seeking a skilled Optometrist to join their team in Gillingham, Kent. As a part-time Optometrist, you will provide personalized eyecare experiences to patients, utilizing advanced equipment and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough sight tests for patients, utilizing Optomap, OCT, Tonometer, and digital slitlamp equipment.
  • Work alongside an experienced Dispensing Optician to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Enjoy a high level of clinical freedom, deciding how to manage patients and what lens/contact lenses to dispense.
  • Work a 4-day week, including Saturdays, with flexible hours from 9am to 5:30pm.
  • Receive a competitive salary between £50,000 to £65,000 DOE, plus bonus, as well as benefits such as staff discount, private healthcare, and life cover.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC.
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills in areas like dry eye, macular degeneration, glaucoma, specialist contact lenses, myopia control, and orthokeratology.
  • Focus on clinical excellence and providing higher levels of communication and patient engagement.
