HGV Technician

We're seeking a skilled HGV Mechanic to join our Transportation team in Glastonbury. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs, LGVs, and vans, adhering to factory and industry standards.
- Diagnose and rectify faults using specialist diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct road tests and present vehicles for test, completing administrative tasks such as record keeping.
- Be on call during winter months for vehicle breakdowns, supporting our fleet of gritters across Somerset.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in vehicle maintenance.
- Full HGV driving licence or willingness to obtain.
- Previous experience as a vehicle technician, with a strong understanding of plant and machinery maintenance.
