About the Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled Exhibition and Sponsorship Manager to join our team at Clarion Events. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing and prospective sponsors, nurturing long-term partnerships and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing and prospective sponsors, nurturing long-term partnerships.
  • Understand clients' business goals and propose tailored sponsorship packages that align with their marketing strategies.
  • Account manage exhibition stand sales and zone responsibility on the DSEI floorplan.
  • Work with internal teams to develop innovative sponsorship packages that enhance brand visibility, lead generation, and market positioning for exhibiting customers.
  • Customise sponsorship packages for individual clients, balancing their objectives with the commercial needs of the exhibitions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sponsor objectives.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to provide insights for future strategy adjustments.

Requirements:

  • Proven Sales Success: Demonstrated experience in sponsorship sales, business development, or account management within the defence, security, or a related B2B exhibition sector.
  • Relationship Building: Strong ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and translating them into tailored sponsorship solutions.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed to attend exhibitions, client meetings, and industry events.
