Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Octagon Group. As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of advanced electrical charging systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new product designs and improve existing products.
  • Design and develop electrical systems, including wiring, busbars, and component selection.
  • Perform calculations to ensure designs meet requirements and drive cost reduction and reliability improvements.
  • Support project management and operations functions.
  • Ensure the quality, cost, and design of your work and others' work are optimal.

Requirements:

  • Excellent team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to balance engineering risks and business priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills and clear thinking.
  • Comprehensive understanding of engineering systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Quick to assimilate and analyze large amounts of data.
