Job Summary
We are seeking a committed individual to support our teaching team in a primary school setting. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide a stimulating and supportive climate for our pupils to achieve their maximum potential.
We are a friendly school with approximately 227 pupils aged between 3 and 9 years. Our school fosters close links with parents and the local community. We aim to provide a wide variety of experiences for the children both on and off the school site. These are organised by the staff team of teachers and teaching assistants working together.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate looking to gain experience before applying for a PGCE or working with children. The hours will be negotiated within 8.30am and 3.30 pm Monday to Friday. The position is subject to a DBS Enhanced disclosure check, two references and evidence of appropriate qualifications.
