Chief Systems Engineering Officer

Marshall, a leading provider of deployable operational infrastructure and mission support, is seeking a highly skilled Chief Systems Engineering Officer to lead its engineering function.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a world-class systems engineering strategy to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Lead the transformation of the Systems Engineering function, establishing best-in-class practices and processes.
- Implement processes and governance to support programme delivery timelines, ensuring maturity of design into production.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to embed effective systems engineering practices into the organisation.
- Accountable for the engineering schedule and budget, ensuring alignment with overall project and product schedules.
- Provide strong leadership to the Engineering teams, establishing clear lines of communication and ensuring cross-functional teams are integrated into the engineering programme.
- Develop and implement a robust change control process, considering cross-functional impacts into engineering and production.
- Ensure planning activity is embedded as a discipline within the engineering teams, covering resource allocation and cross-functional collaboration.
- Interface with customers on all engineering matters, keeping abreast of engineering advancements and new technology.
- Drive a commercial approach to engineering, ensuring costs are managed and cost-down initiatives are implemented.
- Develop and deliver the business line Engineering strategy, meeting existing business requirements and future growth/development.
Based in the UK, with operations in Canada, Marshall specialises in the design and production of deployable operational infrastructure and mission support for humanitarian, defence and security operations across the globe.
