Job Title: Care Assistant for a Young Person

We are seeking a caring and experienced Care Assistant to support a young person with autism and communication difficulties.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the young person in their daily activities, including playing, drawing, and singing nursery rhymes.
  • Build a relationship with the young person and their family.
  • Supervise the young person at all times and ensure their safety.
  • Participate in social and leisure activities with the young person, such as playing in the garden and visiting the park.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with special needs.
  • Punctuality, honesty, and a fun-loving attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours:

2 hours per week, usually on weekends, with flexibility to work during school holidays.

Rate of Pay:

£12.40 per hour.

Location:

Based initially at home, with the possibility of working in the community.
