Job Opportunity: General Teaching Assistant (Level 2 Qualified)

Location: Northampton

Period: Temp to Perm

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly General Teaching Assistant to join our lovely village school on a full-time basis. This role will see you working closely with our Year 2 class, supporting both the teacher and students in a caring, positive atmosphere.

About the Role:

* Full-time, 08:15 – 15:15 with a 30-minute lunch break

* Temp-to-perm position, offering stability and growth

* Close-knit, friendly school team with only 20 staff members

* Well-behaved, eager-to-learn students who thrive in our nurturing setting

Responsibilities:

* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities

* Provide tailored support to individual students, helping them reach their full potential

* Create a safe and inclusive environment, following safeguarding protocols

* Help maintain classroom organization and support the children's social and emotional development

Experience and Qualifications:

* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential

* Previous experience in KS1 or Year 2 is preferred

* Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with staff and parents
