Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to join our team at Leonardo SpA. As a key member of our electronics design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-performance digital hardware for our self-protection systems installed on fast jet, UAV, land, and naval platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electronic hardware for complex systems using world-class facilities and expert support.
  • Work on mixed signal ADC/DAC, FPGA, and SoC based design for high-performance signal processing, communications, and control.
  • Contribute to requirements definition, analysis, architecture development, and PCB design.
  • Collaborate on design verification and qualification testing, test and debugging, and production support.
  • Apply model-driven engineering using Matlab and Simulink tools.
  • Develop a structured approach to electronic design and electronics test methods.
Requirements:
  • Hold a HNC/HND or Undergraduate Degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics, or Applied Physics, or have equivalent skills and experience.
  • Prior experience in the defence industry is desirable.
