At Boots Opticians, we are dedicated to providing exceptional patient-centred care, and as a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will be part of our team that helps patients feel good.

As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will work across the healthcare counter and the dispensary to provide tailored conversations with every customer, ensuring they leave feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.

Your duties will include delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary, such as ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collection of prescriptions, while also complying with legal and professional requirements and accepted guidance on professional practice in Boots.

You will also have the opportunity to engage with GPs and practice teams to promote services and items, and deliver efficient dispensary operations, ensuring dispensing losses are minimised.

To succeed in this role, you will need either an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services or be working towards it, and have completed a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent.

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at £12.69-£14.05 per hour, depending on location, and a range of benefits, including a generous holiday allowance, pension scheme, and flexible working patterns.
