Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, ensuring students achieve their full potential in Science.
- Teach all three disciplines of science: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, adapting your teaching style to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Evaluate student progress, identify areas for improvement, and celebrate successes, using assessment data to inform instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and improve the Combined Science curriculum, promoting academic excellence and innovation.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities related to Science, enhancing the educational experience for students and staff alike.
Requirements:
- Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, such as DTLLS or similar.
- Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching Science, with a commitment to delivering high-quality education.
- Showcase excellent communication skills, ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
