Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Biomedical Scientist to join our Pathology team at Nuffield Health Glasgow Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality pathology services and taking a share of covering on-call service out of hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality pathology services, including biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, and reporting.
  • Perform quality control and maintain accurate records of specimens, results, reagents, and consumables.
  • Support the organization in validating and assessing new equipment and developing new diagnostic procedures.

Requirements

  • Relevant laboratory experience in Histopathology, with multi-disciplinary biomedical science experience an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of multi-disciplinary techniques.
  • Excellent communication and team player skills.
  • Ability to maintain good customer relationships and provide high levels of service in a modern pathology laboratory.
