Commercial Vehicle Repair Specialist

Volvo Trucks is currently seeking a Commercial Vehicle Repair Specialist to join our team in Ipswich. As a Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest possible levels of productive efficiency, quality of workmanship, and production finish.
Key Responsibilities:- Road test vehicles when required (if holder of HGV license).
- Ensure service sheets are completed as per Volvo instructions.
- Report vehicle defects to workshop controller.
- Maintain workshop facilities, equipment, and tools to reflect Volvo's image.
- Completed an apprenticeship in HGV industry or equivalent experience.
- Experience within commercial vehicle industry.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Up to £20 per hour (dependent upon skill set/experience) - estimated annual salary £42,000.
- 37.5 hours per week.
- Rotating shift pattern Monday to Friday 0600hrs to 1400hrs/1400hrs to 2200hrs.
- Alternative Saturday 0600hrs to 1300hrs @ overtime, time and a half.
