About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed SEN Learning Support Assistant to work on a daily supply basis at Primary and Secondary schools in Downham Market and its surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs. A relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) and experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) are essential requirements for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist students with SEN in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to monitor progress and share insights on student development.
• Foster a positive and nurturing environment to boost students' confidence and independence.
• Support individual learning plans, helping to implement strategies and interventions.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits that include flexible working hours and opportunities for professional growth.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:
1. Experience working with children with SEN, either in a classroom or care setting.
2. A relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
